The symposium is an educational gathering of honey beekeepers for the purpose of gathering knowledge and skills in apiary. Florida’s leading experts in beekeeping will be lecturing and giving outdoor open hive talks and demonstrations. Dr. Jamie Ellis, Professor of Entomology and Head of the Florida Bee Research Lab at University of Florida, will be the Keynote Speaker for the event. Everyone is invited to enter the Honey Show. It will be judged by Welsh Certified Honey Judge. Showcase your bees’ abilities and bragging rights.
